This course is designed to teach proper handling and manipulation of the
shotgun and competent shotgun marksmanship.
In this class, you will learn what the shotgun will, and WILL NOT, do.
The importance of patterning your shotgun properly is discussed at length.
The course also covers: shotgun ammunition selection, weapon loading
and unloading, and reloading if you’re involved in a shooting situation.
Shooting from several ready positions, various tactical body positions, and
weapon retention are also covered. For those students with prior pistol
training, transition to a pistol is also covered.
