4) Assemble everything: Pre-addressed Envelope, Fee (Certified or Bank
Check or Money Order), Passport Photograph, Completed Fingerprint Card, Proof of
Training, Application with notarized signature (For Virginia only: Also include
a copy of a Government ID).
5) Mail to: Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services,
Division of Licensing, PO Box 6687, Tallahassee, FL 32314. Check amount: $117.00
6) Mail to: Virginia Firearms Transaction Center, Nonresident CHP
Permits, Criminal Justice Information Services Division, PO Box 85141, Richmond,
VA 23285-5141. Check amount: $100.00
7) The Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License is valid for
a period of 7 years, while the Virginia Concealed Weapon or Firearm License is
valid for 5 years. Approximately 90 days prior to the license's expiration
date, the Division automatically sends a renewal notice to the address on file
for the license holder.
